We've been scouring Pinterest to collect some amazing kids crafts and activities.
Here are three totally cool ideas that we've found and can't wait to share them with you.
Create a Laser Obstacle Course
Rainy day? March break? Just looking to get your kids up and moving? All you need is some red string (any string will work, but red makes it look like lasers). Tack or tie up the string to create a challenging obstacle course. Make this course as simple or complicated as you like, depending on the age of your children. This activity will get kids crouching, crawling, hopping and stretching!
Make a Calm Down Basket
Tired of time out? Add a positive spin to chaotic moments with a Calm Down Basket. This Pinterest suggests including a jar with strips of paper in it. The pieces of paper should have activities listed that the kids can do in order to calm down. From deep breathing to simple counting games, choose activities, books and items that you know your child will find comforting and relaxing.
Who doesn't want melted chocolate, warm fruit, nuts and candies all melted together! Fill an ice cream cone, or tasty waffle cone, with anything from brownie bits, cinnamon, chocolate chips, marshmallows, coconut or dried fruit. Wrap your filled cone, wrap it in tin foil and put them over the campfire or in the oven. Doesn't one with apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and raisins sound good?http://pinterest.com/pin/251497960410734419/
